Vapor-Tek™ 440 is a high-performance, two-component moisture vapor barrier designed to reduce moisture transmission through concrete slabs. It permanently controls moisture vapor emission rates up to 20 lbs/24 hr/1,000 sq. ft., helping protect moisture-sensitive floor coverings and coatings.
Its 100% solids, VOC-free formula creates a strong bond to concrete and can be used as a standalone moisture barrier or as a primer beneath epoxy flooring systems, hardwood, carpet, and tile. It also helps reduce dusting while improving the long-term performance of finished floors.
Recommended for interior concrete floors in basements, garages, warehouses, and other areas exposed to moisture or hydrostatic pressure, Vapor-Tek™ 440 meets ASTM F3010 standards for moisture mitigation systems.
