Vapor-Tek™ 440 FC is a two-component moisture vapor barrier that controls emission rates up to 20 lbs/24 hr/1,000 sq. ft. Its fast-curing formula helps reduce moisture transmission through concrete before applying epoxy flooring, hardwood, carpet, or tile.
The VOC-free coating bonds strongly to damp concrete and can be used as a standalone moisture barrier or as a primer beneath an epoxy flooring system. It is easily applied with a squeegee, nap roller, or brush and meets ASTM F3010 requirements for moisture mitigation systems.
Vapor-Tek™ 440 FC has a short working time of approximately 5–25 minutes after mixing. Apply in small batches using the recommended 2:1 mix ratio.
